Morgan Newling: The woman behind the vision

Morgan Newling is the General Manager of Commercial Collective, supporting both Partners, the Board of Directors and the entire team. Morgan joined Commercial Collective just six months after its inception, helping to build the foundations of the business in its infancy to its successful place in the real estate market today.

The younger years

Morgan is a Novocastrian, born and bred. Having been raised from a young age by a single mother, Morgan learned early in life what it means to be a strong independent woman. Growing up with 2 sisters, Morgan was fiercely protective of her sisters.

“My Mum always seemed to have it all under control, she worked full-time, ran a house and raised three daughters on her own. As an adult now, I realise how hard that was to manage, but as kids we had no idea and I am thankful for that.

I’m now a single Mum myself and I value the lessons I learned from my own mother – even though I didn’t recognise them at the time. I am striving to raise a young man to become better than the examples I had growing up.”

What was Morgan’s journey to General Manager?

Morgan is a career woman through and through. Having worked for a large Australia-wide company in its early years of operation previously, she is experienced in the fundamentals of what is required to get a new business not only operational but hitting key milestones towards growth.

“My role in a previous business included the start-up of a new service of the business. It was an entirely new industry for me and the development growth I experienced during that time has given me the confidence to know that I can handle all challenges thrown at me as General Manager.”

“When Dane (CEO of Commercial Collective) first approached me about coming across to Commercial Collective I was excited by the challenge, but I honestly could never have envisioned the level of growth we’ve experienced in just four short years”.

As General Manager, Morgan holds the responsibility for overseeing all operational and financial aspects of the business. Her unwavering determination reflects her commitment to upholding Commercial Collective’s core values.
