Shepherds Hill Cottage is a unique hospitality opportunity in the newly refurbished, historically significant cottage. Commercial Collective is taking Expressions of Interest closing 10th October, 2024 followed by a selective tender.

The Cottage has recently undergone a refurbishment to restore it to its full historical charm. The Cottage is one of the most iconic heritage sites in Newcastle, steeped in history while offering unsurpassed views over the city and coastline.
Located at 41 The Terrace, Newcastle, Shepherds Hill Cottage is located on the popular Newcastle Memorial Walk, providing year-round foot traffic to this iconic location.

The café/restaurant should deliver a unique, top-tier dining experience that capitalises on the connection between the history of the Cottage and the café/restaurant by embracing opportunities to be creative with the menu and open to community events in the area. The Cottage will offer a café collection window, outdoor and indoor seating options. The café/restaurant space will benefit from the addition of a commercial kitchen, cool room, additional storage room and bin store (STCA).
