“We initially looked at an adjoining property in late 2023, but the cost of installing a commercial kitchen made it unviable,” Alessandra explained. “When we found this property, complete with a kitchen, we couldn’t get on the phone quick enough!”

Osteria Papazzo will bring a true taste of Napoli to Newcastle, with a menu focused on ancient cooking techniques, artisanal creations, and organic, sustainable Australian produce. Every dish from breakfast to brunch to intimate evening dining will be made from scratch, without machines, reflecting a long labour of love.
